Job summary

The Focus Group is seeking a field-based veterinary sales professional to grow sales within an agreed customer portfolio, focusing on veterinary practices and wholesalers in Gauteng and Mpumalanga. The role requires addressing treatment challenges and demonstrating how products enhance patient outcomes.

Candidates should have a relevant animal health qualification and a valid driver’s license, with prior veterinary sales or professional experience considered highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• A degree in the animal health field, diploma or degree in veterinary nursing, or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license & driving experience.
• Experience as a sales representative in the veterinary or animal-health industry, or experience as a veterinary professional, is a major advantage.
• Where veterinary or animal-health sales or professional experience is not available, pharmaceutical-industry sales experience will be considered the next most relevant background, particularly where the candidate has sold technical products to healthcare professionals.
