Isilumko Staffing is seeking a qualified Veterinarian to lead veterinary oversight in Johannesburg. In this role, you will manage animal production and research programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, be registered with the SAVC, and have at least 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include supervising laboratory activities and ensuring animal welfare across SAVP and NICD facilities. The position requires a strong understanding of GLP/GMP and veterinary ethics.

Qualifications

• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification veterinary experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide veterinary leadership and oversight across animal production and research programmes.
• Manage the Small Animal Unit, Quality Control, and Stables Department.
