Job Summary:

Work in coordination with the electrical team on ICT and communication aspects, requiring good IT knowledge. Plan electrical maintenance and report to the Electrical Lead / Chief Engineer. Adhere to HSE and Quality procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and control onboard electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
2. Define maintenance work, set priorities, and propose maintenance schedules.
3. Recommend stock levels of materials to ensure work continuity.
4. Ensure work activities comply with safety procedures and practices.
5. Maintain ICT equipment (servers, communication antennas, telephone systems) for efficiency and proper functioning.
6. Implement modifications needed for the vessel to meet project IT requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

1. Accredited Bachelor’s/Diploma qualification.
2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT Management Infrastructure.
3. Knowledge of Cisco infrastructure systems, including managing L3 switches and VLANs.
4. Ability to interface IT and IoT networks following company cybersecurity restrictions.
5. Possession of a valid BOSIET/FOET and Seaman Book with current validity.
6. Fluent in English.
