1. You’ll be managing ventilation projects from start to finish, overseeing the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of bespoke ventilation solutions for the mining sector.
2. Working closely with design and engineering teams, you’ll ensure compliance with industry regulations and deliver efficient, high-quality systems.
3. Site inspections, performance evaluations, and technical assessments will form part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring the best possible solutions for your clients.
4. In addition, you’ll engage in business development, building strong relationships within the mining industry and identifying new sales opportunities.
5. Your role will also include preparing technical proposals, presenting solutions to clients, and representing the company at industry events.

What you’ll need

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field is essential, along with at least five years of experience in ventilation engineering.
2. You should have a proven track record in managing turnkey ventilation projects, a deep understanding of mine ventilation systems, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
3. Strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience working with fabrication and design teams will be crucial. Business development and sales experience within the industry would be a strong advantage. Willingness to travel to client sites is required.
