FNB is seeking a Vendor Management Specialist to manage and optimise vendor relationships, SLAs and contracting with third-party suppliers. The role involves coordinating across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure governance and performance delivery in line with obligations and client expectations.

The ideal candidate should have a degree and 5-7 years in vendor management or procurement, with 2-3 years ICT experience and a preference for CIPS certification.

We design for the shapeshifters and deliver products and services that make us proud of the people who make it happen.**Are you someone who can:*** Drive effective vendor management practices and improve collaboration with our vendor partners, to maintain, evaluate and improve ongoing relationships, SLA and contracting with strategic and other third-party vendors and partners to the benefit of both vendors and the bank.* Coordinating internal stakeholders with external partners across the group for these key vendor engagements* Provide ongoing advice and guidance to business on operational and tactical vendor management, but also ddisplay assertiveness and sound influencing skills in challenging business on identified material risks.* Facilitate problem resolution (where needed) and ensure operational and tactical supplier relationships are protected in line with contractual agreements,* Promote vendor governance for vendor and contract management, by contributing towards ongoing improvements to these policies, frameworks and guidelines and communicating educating and advising stakeholders on the same, internal, and external of the organization,* Assist with the analysis of Total Cost of Ownership and ongoing viability and monitoring of business cases from information provided by Finance, Business, and the vendors.* Participate in budgeting processes when required from a commercial and financial perspectives in terms of understanding and planning for business demand and priorities Supporting the business and procurement in how items or services are to be acquired (e.g. leased, charged as an expense, depreciated or outsourced)* Understand and enable the design standards, protocols and parameters for vendor and contract management, by following guidelines in terms of best practices.* Partner with business to maintain ongoing awareness of their engagements with vendors and advise and support ongoing vendor delivery with business in line with agreed expectations.* Collaborate effectively with risk and compliance on vendor impacts, and help business drive these requirements that impact a vendor partner.* Effective teamwork, self-management, and alignment with group values.
