Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Stock Controller to manage the daily flow, accuracy, and reporting of all vehicles across multiple automotive franchises.

This is a high-volume role requiring efficiency, precision, and proactive problem-solving to ensure dealership stock levels are accurately maintained and optimized.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire vehicle stock lifecycle from acquisition to delivery, including new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records in the dealership management system (DMS) and ensure compliance with stock control procedures.
  • Coordinate vehicle allocations across multiple franchises and departments to optimize sales and availability.
  • Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor vehicle movements, including arrivals, transfers, and deliveries, ensuring timely updates and documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to meet operational and sales targets.
  • Ensure all vehicles are correctly documented for licensing, registration, and compliance purposes.
  • Support marketing and showroom teams with stock information for online and in-dealership displays.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on stock levels, turnover, aging, and sales performance.
  • Implement and maintain processes to minimize idle stock and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Manage relationships with transport and logistics providers to ensure smooth vehicle movement.
Requirements
