SUMMARY:
POSITION INFO:
To actively promote and sell new or pre-owned vehicles to customers by delivering a high-quality customer experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Interaction:
- Greet and engage with walk-in customers.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
- Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits.
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and financing options.
- Sales Execution:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Follow up on leads and prospects through calls, emails, and appointments.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales with professionalism and integrity.
- Prepare and process sales paperwork including finance applications.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory and promotions.
- Stay informed about competitor products and market trends.
- Administration:
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems.
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback.
- Ensure all vehicle handovers are completed with required documentation.
- Customer Service & Retention:
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Key Requirements:- Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Sales or business-related qualification (advantageous)
- Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in vehicle sales or a related field
- Experience in dealership environment (preferred)
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, dealership software)
- Valid driver’s license (essential)

Working Conditions:
- Dealership environment with occasional travel for vehicle deliveries or client visits
