SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

To actively promote and sell new or pre-owned vehicles to customers by delivering a high-quality customer experience, achieving sales targets, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:
    • Greet and engage with walk-in customers.
    • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
    • Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits.
    • Provide accurate product information, pricing, and financing options.
  • Sales Execution:
    • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Follow up on leads and prospects through calls, emails, and appointments.
    • Negotiate pricing and close sales with professionalism and integrity.
    • Prepare and process sales paperwork including finance applications.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory and promotions.
    • Stay informed about competitor products and market trends.
  • Administration:
    • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems.
    • Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback.
    • Ensure all vehicle handovers are completed with required documentation.
  • Customer Service & Retention:
    • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale.
    • Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
    • Sales or business-related qualification (advantageous)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in vehicle sales or a related field
    • Experience in dealership environment (preferred)
