A leading automotive company in Johannesburg seeks a Vehicle Sales Executive. The role involves selling new and used vehicles, engaging with customers, conducting test drives, and closing sales. Candidates should possess a Matric certificate, with 3-5 years of sales experience preferred. Essential skills include strong sales abilities and excellent communication. To actively sell new and / or used vehicles by effectively identifying customer needs, providing exceptional service, and matching clients with the most suitable vehicle options. The Vehicle Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and maintaining brand reputation through professional conduct and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Engage with walk-in and online customers to understand their vehicle requirements.
Promote and sell new and pre-owned vehicles to prospective clients.
Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and financing options in line with company policy.
Close sales and complete all relevant documentation accurately.
Maintain regular contact with clients for after-sales service and follow-up.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
Maintain in-depth product knowledge of all vehicle models and competitors.
Update CRM systems with customer data and sales activity.
Coordinate with the finance and insurance departments to ensure smooth deal closures.
Participate in showroom events, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Stay up to date with industry trends, vehicle technologies, and competitor activity.

Qualifications & Experience :
Matric / Grade 12 (minimum)
Previous experience in automotive sales (3–5 years preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Knowledge of vehicle financing and trade-in processes
Additional training in sales or marketing is advantageous
