• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• Knowledge of SAPS procedures related to stolen and recovered vehicles.

• Manage appointed service providers regarding towing clearance.
• Maintain knowledge of SAPS procedures and vehicle investigations.

Job description

Job Title: Vehicle Recovery Specialist

We are looking to hire a dedicated and proficient Vehicle Recovery Specialist, committed to ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

What you'll do:

• Liaise with clients, brokers, SAPS Members
• Ensure that progress on each recovery is updated regularly
• Manage appointed service providers regarding towing clearance
• Identify vehicles on behalf of the Insurer / client occasionally
• Ensure circulation is correctly canceled by SAPS
• Maintain knowledge of SAPS procedures related to stolen and recovered vehicles
• Understand SAPVIN numbers, Unicode, and stolen vehicle investigations
• Be computer literate and able to differentiate between stolen, hijacked, and tampered vehicles
• Apply SAPVIN numbers and understand microdot processes and procedures
