Job summary

Izicash in Cape Town seeks a Vault Officer to manage and oversee the security and integrity of the vault, monitor access, and maintain precise records of items entering and leaving the vault.

You will work night and weekend shifts to ensure 24/7 security, collaborate with security personnel and management, and respond promptly to alarms while upholding strict protocols.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or recognised equivalent.
• Valid PSIRA Grade C Registration and a current PSIRA CIT training certificate.
• Clear credit record with no adverse history.
• No criminal convictions.
• Must not be currently registered as a director of any company or business.
• Previous experience in security or a closely related field is required.

Essential Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: Possession of a Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or recognised equivalent.

Security Credentials: Valid PSIRA Grade C Registration and a current PSIRA Cash-in-Transit (CIT) training certificate.

Financial Standing: Clear credit record with no adverse history.

Legal Standing: No criminal convictions.

Business Affiliation: Must not be currently registered as a director of any company or business.

Health: Medically fit to perform the duties associated with this role.

Experience:

Previous experience in security or a closely related field is required.

Knowledge and Skills:

Working Conditions:
