Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Validation Engineer in Paarl to ensure pharmaceutical equipment, utilities, and processes meet GMP standards. You will develop and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), maintain validation docs, and collaborate with engineering and QA to support compliant production.

The role requires aEngineering degree and at least 2 years in pharmaceutical validation, with strong technical writing skills and attention to regulatory detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in validation engineering within pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industries.
• Thorough understanding of GMP and IQ/OQ/PQ principles.
• Experience with qualification of process equipment, utilities, and analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Ensure all validation activities comply with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain validation documentation including validation master plans and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment qualification and validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to support validation efforts.
