ENVASS invites qualified candidates to apply for a permanent Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) position in Gauteng, Pretoria, reporting to Senior Management and the Business Unit Manager. The recruitment process begins on 05 September. Only candidates meeting the requirements will be considered.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

1. Post-graduate degree in Environmental Management or Environmental Science.
2. Registration with EAPASA as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP).
3. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management.
4. Extensive experience with Atmospheric Emission Licences, Environmental Impact Assessments, amendments, compliance, and evaluations.
5. Strong knowledge of environmental policies, legislation, guidelines, and standards, demonstrated through project experience and recent training.
6. Experience in the mining and industrial sectors is advantageous.
7. Excellent report writing skills and ability to demonstrate these skills upon request.
8. Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, authorities, and teams.
9. Ability to work independently and in teams.
10. Willingness to travel, with a valid driver's license and passport.
11. Experience in proposals, quotations, tenders, and sourcing new work.
