About the Role: Our client, a leading player in the utility-scale solar PV sector, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control efforts across major renewable energy construction projects. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures for utility-scale solar PV plants.

• Ensure construction quality meets design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Conduct audits, inspections, and testing in line with international and South African codes.

• Work collaboratively with EPC contractors, consultants, and on-site project teams.

• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting in support of project compliance.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements:

✓ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on QA/QC experience in utility-scale solar PV construction.

✓ Proven experience working on projects totaling over 100 MW, including at least one PV plant exceeding 10 MW capacity.

✓ In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, NEC).

✓ Familiarity with local South African regulations and standards related to solar and construction.

✓ Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.

✓ Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
