Job Description
We're hiring a Mid UX/UI Designer for a leading Financial Services Company, where you'll be part of our client’s Digital Design Hub while employed by Yoyo.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the Product Design Lead and developers to create engaging user experiences and polished UI designs across our digital products. Guided by the Lead Designer, you'll contribute to the design process, assisting in user research, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, testing, and product quality assurance.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the lead product designer, product manager, and development team.
User Research
- Assist the Lead Product Designer in the user research phase – including initial interviews, gathering insights, and usability testing during the design lifecycle.
User Experience
- Collaborate with fellow junior designers and your Product Design Lead to understand product requirements and user needs.
Product Design
- Support the creation of wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity UI for web and mobile, understanding React Native Design and platform guidelines.
- Build positive and negative customer flows for stakeholders to ensure a great customer journey.
Inter-team Collaboration
- Work with your Design Lead and developers to understand tech constraints.
- Ensure designs are implemented as envisioned during development.
- Support the broader design needs of stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Design or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI/CX roles.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
- Experience working within a cross-functional development team.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Experience in the Financial Sector or payment platforms is a plus.
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and adapt to feedback.
- Portfolio showcasing your design work.
