Job summary

SPECD Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced UX Designer to ensure a seamless and enjoyable user experience across products. The role involves researching user needs, designing intuitive interfaces, and iterating through testing and feedback.

You will create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate ideas and collaborate with UI designers. The position is permanent and hybrid, with work locations in Irene or Rosebank.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of industry UX design experience.
• Proficient with industry standard design tools (Adobe CC, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Framer, InVision Studio).
• Technical experience/knowledge advantageous such as HTML, JavaScript & CSS.

Responsibilities

• Understand product specifications and user psychology.
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
• Create personas through user research and data.
• Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to bring the product vision to life.
• Create user stories, personas, and storyboards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand product specifications and user psychology.

• Gauge the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.
• Analyze platforms and create a case for change that will meet user requirements and expectations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience advantageous.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Adobe CC, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Framer, InVision Studio).
• Technical experience/knowledge advantageous such as HTML, JavaScript & CSS.

Package & Remuneration:

• Will be agreed based on qualifications, applicable experience, and previous earnings.
