About the role

We are seeking a Utility Controller to report on variances (water, sewer, electricity, waste) to the client, provide support to the business unit on technical utility matters, manage the SLA with the utility management company on behalf of the client, and administer utility billings to tenants while reporting on utility income and expenses.

What you will be doing

1. Tenant billing and municipal account reconciliations
2. Accurate recons and reporting on utility variances
3. Report on utility variances at client monthly management meetings
4. Timeous payment to local municipality
5. Accurate calculation and/or verification of utility expense accruals
6. Accurate loading of utility recoveries on Electricity, Water and Sewerage, and Waste
7. Using historical consumption patterns and seasonal tariffs, determine a close to accurate representation of periods under projections
8. Assisting the General Manager with administrative matters
