Job description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
  • Manage and optimize utilities (Water, Air, Steam, CO2, Cooling Towers, Effluent, Chemicals, Coal, Dust Handling) usages to ensure refinery functioning at an optimal cost.
  • Coordinate and manage effluent processes.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with equipment specifications.
  • Oversee dam effluent management and river water abstraction.
  • Implement people performance management processes.
  • Lead formal problem-solving processes and manage non-conformance issues.
  • Optimize energy consumption.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Asset Care program in the area.
  • Ensure legal compliance of equipment.
  • Implement and manage an effective H&S system for the area.
  • Manage budgets (Operational, Asset Care, Usages).
  • Coordinate capital projects and oversee their handover to operations.
  • Implement visual management systems (PIMS/POMS) at the shop floor level.
  • Manage boiler operations focusing on efficiency, condensate reduction, steam optimization, and team management.
Qualifications And Experience Required
  • BSc or BTech Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • GCC Factories qualification is advantageous.
  • 5-7 years of experience in steam generation, sugar manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Experience in leading development and continuous improvement projects.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong, confident, and assertive personality capable of influencing others.
  • Team player with ethical values and professional maturity.
