We have specialised in providing professional and managed services to OEMs, system integrators, and financial services providers globally, as well as IT and Telco companies, for over 26 years. We are looking for a UX Designer to work on a hybrid basis in South Africa (Johannesburg).

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct heuristic assessments of existing digital products to identify areas for user experience improvement.
  2. Define design principles and contribute to the development of a digital style guide.
  3. Design wireframes and user flows for multiple MVPs, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  5. Support usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  6. Enable and coach teams on the practice of user experience design.
  7. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of brand, products, and services to ensure design consistency and coherence.
Skills:
  1. Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking.
  2. Excellent design skills, with a focus on experience design.
  3. Proven track record in user experience design of consumer-facing digital products.
  4. Experience with user research methods and analysis.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and critically.
