Job description

Develop and implement effective sales plans to stay ahead of competitors, ensuring increased market share, pre-owned sales, and profitability (1st & 2nd Gross) in line with shareholder and manufacturer requirements.
Marketing

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance customer interaction.

Leadership

Create a team culture focused on customer experience and excellence.

Motivate, lead, and coach the sales team to exceed goals and targets.

Customer Care

Build and maintain customer relationships by providing the highest level of customer care.

Pre-Owned Stock Management

Ensure optimal stock purchases based on accurate residual values to support the new car department.

Manage aged stock effectively.

Performance Management
  • Coach team members through constructive feedback and mutual productivity plans to enhance performance.

Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the sales environment.

Manage the financial and budgeting aspects of the department, including forecasting, OEM relations, floorplan, expenses, and stock holdings.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years automotive sales management experience at a franchise dealership.
  • Experience with high-volume brands.
  • Pre-owned sales experience and residual value knowledge.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Leads management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Result-oriented with negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Marketing knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Autobid.
  • Valid driver's license.
