Job summary

Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages in Parow seeks a Unit Manager - Raw Material Stores to lead the unit, align with world class manufacturing practices and drive excellence in safety, quality and cost control. You will manage raw materials from store to production and supervise a team in a FMCG environment.

The role requires a National Diploma (NQF6) in Engineering/Manufacturing or related field and at least five years of relevant experience; SAP/ERP knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing role within a FMCG environment, preferably beverage industry.
• Financial Management experience advantageous.
• Experience in Raw Material Handling.
• Injection Moulding process experience is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of ERP system, SAP preferable.
• World Class Manufacturing Best Practices.

Job Description

This job reports directly into the manufacturing operations manager and involves the complete management of a production/ engineering unit in Manufacturing, including financial, Culture & People Development, quality, technical and operational aspects in line with world class manufacturing practices.You will be responsible for creating a culture of excellence, accountability, resilience and commitment. This culture includes establishing a daily demonstration of ‘Make It Better’. You will be responsible for managing of the raw materials from store into production.

Manage the Unit under the guidance of KORE requirements in an optimal manner by employing world class manufacturing practices.
