Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd seeks a Unit Manager to plan, monitor, and oversee ward operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient unit management. The role includes mentoring nursing staff, budget oversight, and stakeholder engagement in a private hospital setting.

The incumbent will supervise ward clerks, RN, EN and ENA roles, drive training and development, and ensure cost-saving measures while upholding healthcare standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• B.Cur in General Nursing is required.
• Certification or Diploma in Paediatric Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Nursing Administration qualification preferred.

Job Summary

To plan, monitor, coordinate and oversee the Unit's operations and processes to ensure quality patient care and the overall running of the unit including but not limited to managing the ward clerks, RN, EN and ENA's roles and responsibilities. Take responsibility for the mentoring, coaching, training and development of nursing staff and managing the Unit budget and ensuring cost saving and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Cur in General Nursing
• Certification or Diploma in Paediatric Nursing
• BLS
• Nursing Administration qualification

Minimum Experience

• Infection Prevention and Control
• 3+ years' experience at a managerial/supervisory level.
• Experienced in Paediatric nursing
• Experience within a private hospital environment advantageous.
