The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years nursing experience in a hospital and 2–3 years in management, with a track record of developing nursing talent and improving service quality.

Qualifications

• 4-year Diploma or 4-year Degree in Nursing (General, Psychiatry, or midwifery).
• At least 5 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital; 2–3 years in leadership roles.

Key Responsibility Areas

lead a quality and safe patient care experience that meets the set clinical standards through optimal management of human and organisational resources within a structured unit:

• Managing all related nursing services and activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the hospital
• Ensuring that nursing standards, quality assurance and risk management are maintained within the hospital
• Assign decision-making authority/task responsibility to appropriate persons to maximise organisational and employee effectiveness.
• Facilitate effective change & conflict management
• Build MDT relationships
• Promote sound staff, patient and doctor relationships
• Develop talented nursing leaders
• Assist in growing the revenue of the hospital
• Implementation and management of Clinical Governance

Essential Education

4-year Diploma or 4-year Degree in Nursing; General, Psychiatry, midwifery

Essential Minimum Experience

At least 5 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital; 2-3 years of leadership experience in a hospital
