About My client is a leading provider of integrated AV, UC, and smart infrastructure solutions. They serve major corporates, government institutions, and industrial clients with turnkey solutions that span across design, supply, implementation, and long-term support.

My Client is seeking a highly competent and motivated Unified Communications Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct site visits and engage directly with clients to assess solution requirements
2. Investigate and evaluate the most appropriate UC and AV technologies for each project
3. Prepare detailed technical submissions for public and private sector tenders
4. Develop schematics, system diagrams, and infrastructure layouts using Microsoft Visio and Stardraw
5. Create technical design documents, as-built documentation, and project support material
6. Sign off and validate all solution specifications and commercial quotations
7. Provide ongoing technical liaison with customers throughout the project lifecycle
8. Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and project teams to ensure alignment of designs with operational delivery
9. Remain up to date on market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor updates in the Unified Communications space

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Unified Communications, AV Integration, or IT Systems Architecture
• Proven ability to design and price complex UC / AV solutions
• Strong knowledge of UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Yealink, Poly, Logitech, or Cisco Webex, Crestron, Extron, and leading AV technologies
• Demonstrated experience in compiling commercial quotations and Bill of Materials
• Proficient in Microsoft Visio, Stardraw, and general documentation tools (Word, Excel, PDF markups)
• Strong understanding of IP networking, signal flow, cabling, and audiovisual system integration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and across teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience in large-scale tenders or public sector submissions
• Exposure to integrated control room or video wall environments
• Familiarity with project management tools and timelines
• Knowledge of SANS standards and structured cabling protocols
