Job description

Our client based in Northam is looking for an Underground Project Manager Assistant.

Assisting Project Manager: Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing underground projects.
Worker Management: Help manage workers, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Material and Equipment Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating the delivery and use of materials and equipment.
Project Scheduling: Help create and manage project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including workers, contractors, and suppliers.
Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards on the project site.
Quality Control: Help ensure that project work meets quality standards and specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation, including progress reports, incident reports, and meeting minutes.

Project Management: Experience in project management, preferably in underground construction or mining.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in underground construction or mining.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Support Project Manager: Provide effective support to the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure Safety: Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for all project personnel.
Meet Project Objectives: Help ensure that project objectives are met, including timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Salary: R 100 000.00 p/m
