An opportunity has become available for a high caliber Code 14 Driver who will be based at our contract. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12.
2. Code EC driver's license with a valid PrDP.
3. 3 years experience driving an Ultra heavy vehicle.
4. 3 years experience driving a Superlink/Interlink/combination.
5. Must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays.
6. Defensive driving techniques.
7. Reporting procedure of emergencies and defects.
8. Vehicle inspections and operating a fire extinguisher.
9. Maximizing vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
10. Vehicle loading and offloading techniques.
11. Own reliable transport to and from work.
12. Clean criminal record.
13. Medically Fit.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare vehicle for trip and operate Ultra heavy duty vehicles.
2. Load, transport and offload vehicles.
3. Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties.
4. All other reasonable instructions from Supervisor.
5. Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
6. Safe driving record and clean criminal record.
7. Housekeeping of vehicles, uniform and PPE.
8. Adhere to promote SOP’s and Safety Procedures.
9. Successfully undergo / complete the following:
10. Medical evaluation
11. USCS training modules
12. Induction processes
13. Practical driving evaluation
14. Verification of clean criminal record
