Job description

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to join our digital banking team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital interfaces that improve user satisfaction and streamline customer journeys across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a financial, fintech, or enterprise software environment.

Skills & Tools
Design & Prototyping Tools:
  • Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin

Research & Testing:
  • Usability Hub, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, User Testing

Technical Knowledge:
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and how designs are implemented

  • Familiarity with agile software development and design systems

UX Capabilities:
  • Wireframing, prototyping, user flows, journey mapping

  • Heuristic evaluation and usability testing

  • Accessibility (WCAG), inclusive design principles

Key Responsibilities
  • Design responsive, high-fidelity user interfaces for mobile banking apps and online banking portals.

  • Translate product requirements into sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and QA to ensure feasibility and alignment.

  • Maintain and contribute to a centralized design system and UI component library.

  • Apply design thinking principles and advocate for user-centered design practices.

  • Ensure compliance with accessibility, usability, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
