What does Playnetic do?

Established in 2023, Playnetic is a new player in the world of gaming entertainment. We design and build slot games from scratch – from idea to release. Our games will be played in regulated markets globally through industry-leading operators.

Our innovative gaming content is centred around our core values: quality gaming, dedicated customer service, and reliable delivery to our partners.

We’re currently in a phase of growth and will scale considerably over the next 12 months. As a fully remote studio, we understand the importance of staying connected and maintaining team collaboration. We are continually mindful of this as we grow and have the tools and support in place to help us all flourish.

UI / Narrative Team Lead Role

Technical Experience:

• Expertise in storytelling & narrative across a wide range of games & digital media
• A solid understanding of game development from a game design/UI perspective
• Exposure to the casino/slots/mobile industry with good familiarity with marketplace trends
• A high degree of autonomy & self-management, as you will need to broadly plan out your workload and manage your delivery (deadlines, quality benchmarks, etc.)
• Good communication & team management skills, as in many situations, you will need to coach your team in getting buy-in from the team for their ideas and suggestions
• Creative and imaginative, but with a strong pragmatic streak

Industry experience: Ideally, you will have some slots experience, but this is not essential. We are also open to mentors and coaches from a mobile industry background.

The team set-up: You will have four direct reports. Our Narrative/UI Designers allocate themselves across different projects and clans. This team will grow slowly over the next few years but will not get too big.

Career Progression: One day, you may want to become a narrative/UI design manager, owning the narrative alongside the narrative director. Or you could go down the path of being a product owner or game producer. It really is up to you, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
