Job summary

Cre8work! is seeking a skilled tire fitter to join our workshop in Gauteng.

You will inspect truck tires for wear and proper inflation, remove and replace worn tires on trucks, trailers, buses and heavy equipment, and perform puncture repairs and routine tire maintenance. You will balance wheels, torque wheel nuts to specs, provide roadside service when required, maintain accurate service records, and uphold health, safety, and company policy standards while delivering clear maintenance

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck tires for wear, damage, and correct inflation.
• Remove and replace worn or damaged tires on trucks, trailers, buses, and heavy equipment.
• Repair punctures and perform tire maintenance where appropriate.
• Balance wheels and ensure correct tire alignment where required.
• Fit new tires and torque wheel nuts to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform roadside tire service and emergency breakdown assistance when required.
• Check tire pressure and recommend replacements based on tread depth and condition.
• Operate tire fitting and lifting equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete job documentation.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Follow company policies and industry safety standards at all times.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate maintenance recommendations clearly.
