Typescript Backend Developer

Job Opportunity: TypeScript Backend Developers (Senior & Intermediate)

Location: Remote / Flexible

Contract Length: 12 months (Starting January)

Overview

We are excited to announce that we are hiring one Senior TypeScript Backend Developer and two Intermediate TypeScript Backend Developers for a 12-month contract.

This opportunity is ideal for developers passionate about building scalable, high-quality backend systems and working with cutting-edge technologies in the African region's fiscal development sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development & Maintenance: Build and maintain backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performance.
2. API Integration: Seamlessly integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs to support backend functionality.
3. Performance Optimization: Continuously improve system performance, focusing on speed and resource management.
4. Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and industry standards. Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure high-quality, bug-free deliverables.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact solutions and meet project goals.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and troubleshooting reports to ensure clarity and smooth knowledge transfer.

Skills & Experience Required

• Senior Developer: Extensive experience with TypeScript and Node.js for backend development. Proven experience in architecting scalable backend systems. Expertise in API design and integration. Strong background in performance optimization. Excellent understanding of code quality, testing frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Intermediate Developer: Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js. Experience with backend development and API integration. Ability to write maintainable, high-quality code. Familiarity with performance optimization and testing practices. Strong communication skills and team player attitude.
