TVET Learner - Technical Department

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with Mechanical and Electrical duties under the supervision of a qualified artisan.
2. Ensure work output in relation to assigned tasks delegated by Technical Manager or Supervisor.
3. Ensure safety and compliance with statutory requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 National Senior Certificate.
2. Completed N6 Theoretical subjects in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at a recognized TVET College within South Africa.
3. Workplace experience required to obtain qualification / Diploma / Trade Test.
4. Learner must be unemployed to qualify for this opportunity.
5. Learner must complete the full 18 months workplace programme.
6. Any hospital or hospitality experience will be an added advantage.
7. Experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be advantageous.
8. Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety and Health Act regulations.
9. Computer Literate.
