Job description

• Operate lathe machines to shape and cut materials for hydraulic cylinders and components into specific forms and sizes
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Assess the extent of repairs, restoration, or customization request
• Determine the best materials and machine settings to fabricate parts
• Check completed products for accuracy and fit using precise measuring tools
• Meet strict specifications and quality standards
• Manage customer expectations
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Report any issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
• Keep worksites clean from hazardous or obsolete materials
