Overview

We seek an experienced through-the-line Account Director with a strategic mindset and a passion for digitally led creative campaigns to join our Johannesburg team.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead client partnerships with strategic influence, managing day-to-day interactions, campaign planning, and service delivery.
  2. Manage campaigns across digital and social platforms for various brands.
  3. Interpret client needs into clear creative and strategic briefs.
  4. Deliver high-quality campaigns from concept to execution, adhering to brand objectives and timelines.
  5. Develop project plans ensuring timely delivery.
  6. Collaborate with creative, strategy, media, digital, and data teams.
  7. Execute large-scale TTL campaigns on schedule and within scope.
  8. Analyze campaign performance to optimize results and practices.
  9. Identify new opportunities across digital and social media based on trends.
Business Skills
  • Lead end-to-end campaigns, working with external agencies.
  • Possess strong digital expertise, understanding social platforms and technical requirements.
  • Experience in ATL (Film, Audio, OOH) production.
  • Manage client portfolio financials with a commercial mindset.
  • Focus on strategy and execution.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and their creative applications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years in account management, with at least 2 years as an Account Director.
  • Degree in Marketing or Advertising.
  • Experience in digital agencies and with large multinational brands or FMCG is advantageous.
  • Proven track record working with external agency partners.
