Trust Tax Consultant

Tax Consulting is seeking an accomplished professional with at least 3 years of experience in trust accounting and tax reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialise in preparing trust administration statements and trust tax computations, with strong knowledge in trust tax compliance and trust structures.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a 3-year Degree, BCom or related qualification.
  • 3 year's Experience in a Trust / Tax industry
  • Specialise in trust accounting, tax reporting, and trust administration, including drafting trust financial statements, preparing S7(C) calculations, and Trust Distribution and Attribution Schedules.
  • Be knowledgeable in the Trust Property Control Act, trust deed and will interpretation, and trust tax matters.
  • Have a strong understanding of SARS Third-Party Data Reporting for trusts, including IT3(t), IT3(d), FATCA, and CRS compliance.
  • Possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Be proficient with accounting software and Excel, with a solid technical grasp of trust-related financial matters.
  • Have excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams.
  • Be able to handle pressure with emotional resilience and adaptability.
  • Have a strategic mindset and the ability to elevate client offerings through trust expertise.
