Trust Officer / Fiduciary Specialist – Woodmead, Johannesburg.

A leading fiduciary firm specializing in managing trusts is expanding its office and is looking for an experienced Trust Officer / Fiduciary Specialist.

If you have a strong background in trust administration, with a focus on maintaining and expanding fiduciary client relationships, this role is for you.

Salary: R40 000 – R50 000 CTC per month plus Provident Fund, Group Risk.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant graduate degree specific to Law, Accounting, Tax, or Financial Planning.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an independent Trust Officer.
  • Managed at least 60 trust clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Trust Property Control Act.
  • Thorough understanding of the Income Tax Act, Tax Administration Act, and Estate Duty Act.
  • Experience in estate planning (local and offshore) (Advantageous).
  • Knowledge of exchange control matters (Advantageous).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand fiduciary client relationships.
  • Interpret and apply the Trust Property Control Act.
  • Administer trusts with accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on estate planning and tax regulations.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure trust structures are optimized.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
