Job Overview

The role involves acquiring new business through active prospecting to meet profit and unit targets while maintaining excellent customer service. The role also requires adherence to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy, S.H.E. requirements, and reporting deviations to superiors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Activities

  • Plan to meet sales targets and budgets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, both corporate and private, within the allocated geographical area.
  • Maintain and develop existing customer database.
  • Achieve daily call rate targets.
  • Demonstrate vehicles of customers’ choice.
  • Introduce customers to F&I consultants for financial arrangements.
  • Ensure proper handover of vehicles after preparation.
  • Inform management of potential issues with pending deals.
  • Adhere to demo policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all inspections and repairs are completed before delivery.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.

Administration

  • Complete all documentation accurately.
  • Handle trade papers, registration certificates, and related documents.
  • Follow up to prevent delays in financing, registration, and delivery.
  • Ensure timely payments for vehicles.

Customer Care

  • Attend promptly to walk-in and telephonic inquiries.
  • Address inquiries and complaints effectively and courteously.
  • Follow up with potential buyers and monitor prospecting and sales activities.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation.

Self-development

Take responsibility for personal learning and development through assessment, reflection, and action, including sharing learnings with the team.

Qualifications

  • Matric plus a 3-year diploma/degree relevant qualification.
  • Valid Code 14 License and PDP.
  • Computer literacy.

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive in Commercial Vehicles.
  • Proven retail experience, especially in automotive industry.
  • Technical and product knowledge of Mercedes Benz VANS, Trucks, Freightliner, and FUSO brands.
