SUMMARY :

Truck Sales Executive

POSITION INFO :

Truck Sales Executive – POS25167

Potchefstroom

Package & Remuneration : Highly competitive market-related basic package

Experience & Qualification

  • 3-5 Years of truck sales experience.
  • Hino experience highly advantageous.
  • Sufficient knowledge of trucks and industry.
  • Project management skills.
  • Must have own database.
  • Proven sales record.
  • Knowledge of Road Traffic Act and Regulations.
  • Experience with HTM / Transolve.
  • Ability to understand CPK and perform calculations in various applications.
  • Knowledge of vehicle bodies, legal requirements, and client specifications.
  • Willingness to grow and share knowledge with the team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Integrity and honesty.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • No criminal record (mandatory).
  • Code 10 or 14 driver’s license advantageous.

Duties (not limited to)

  • Plan sales activity for strategic accounts.
  • Provide customers with a point-of-contact scenario.
  • Coordinate liaison meetings at the dealer level.
  • Contribute to sales results and improve customer satisfaction and relationships.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly targets (unit sales, market share, gross profit).
  • Vehicle selection, load body fitment, and procurement.
  • Vehicle delivery, handover, payment, and deal closure.
  • Follow up with prospective customers.
  • Visit prospective customers at least twice monthly.
  • Contact current customers at least once monthly via phone, with a follow-up visit.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and support the payment process.
  • Manage vehicle payments to debtors within sale terms to ensure timely commission payments.
  • Prepare and present customer quotations, including electronic side view drawings.
