Job description

Join to apply for the Truck Parts Sales Man (POS) role at Emporium. This range is provided by Emporium.

Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range Johannesburg South R30 to R32 per month.

Job Purpose

To assist customers in a professional, prompt, and ethical manner and to sell and promote the company's products - trailer, heavy duty spares or commercial etc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To effectively and efficiently expedite e-mail and telephonic orders.
  2. To handle telephonic queries, quotations, and sales orders.
  3. To handle counter sales and print Notices to Pick for Dispatch department.
  4. Follow up on back orders when parts are unavailable immediately and communicate delivery dates to customers.
  5. Syspro sales order maintenance, ensuring only valid orders are captured in the system.
  6. Processing and checking orders and following up with order acknowledgment.
  7. Visiting customers (Distributors) during the month as required.
  8. Process RMA's (Returns from customers).
Additional Areas Of Responsibility
  1. To do invoicing, customer service orders, and process back orders when required as a backup to the Invoicing Clerk.
  2. Attend daily production meetings on a rotational basis to discuss spare parts issues.
  3. Carry out all reasonable and lawful instructions given to you by your superiors.
