Truck Part Sales (Counter Sales)

A leading commercial truck dealership in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable TRUCK PART SALES (COUNTER SALES) PERSON to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in counter sales, a deep understanding of truck parts, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Salary : Market related TCTC available / negotiable

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the appropriate truck parts.
• Provide detailed product information and advice to customers.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels of truck parts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep up-to-date with new product offerings and industry trends.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

• 5+ Years proven experience in truck parts sales / counter sales or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of truck parts and their applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using sales and inventory management software.
• Kerridge / Pinnacle or similar experience would be beneficial.
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Certification in automotive or truck parts (adv).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
