Our client is looking for someone to help move furniture

POSITION INFO :

Key Responsibilities :

Packing and Unpacking :

Carefully pack clients'''''''''''''''' belongings into boxes and containers.Label boxes accurately for easy identification and unpacking.Unpack items at the destination and place them in designated locations as directed by the client.

Loading and Unloading :

Load furniture and other items onto moving trucks, ensuring they are secure and protected.Unload items from the truck at the destination, taking care not to damage property.

Transportation :

Drive moving trucks or vans safely to the destination, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.Ensure the moving truck is properly maintained and report any issues to the supervisor.

Customer Service :

Communicate professionally and courteously with clients.Address any client concerns or special requests regarding the move.

Use appropriate techniques and materials to protect fragile items during the move.Ensure valuable items are handled with extra care and attention.

Inventory Management :

Keep an accurate inventory of items being moved.Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications :

• Physical Fitness : Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Driving License : Valid driver''''''''''''''''s license, with a clean driving record (if required to drive moving trucks).
• Experience : Previous experience in a moving or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Other Requirements : Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
