Job summary

Srg Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Durban is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager for a month-to-month contract based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban. The role focuses on cash flow and liquidity management, banking relationships, FX, investments, borrowings and financial risk management.

You will lead a small treasury team, manage both local and international banking facilities, monitor USD exposures, and provide reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• 3-year tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4–5 years’ Treasury/Banking experience.
• Strong FX, cash flow, liquidity and risk management.
• Proven experience managing banking relationships.
• Strong reporting, analytical and administrative skills.
• Confident engaging with senior management and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements
• Manage local and international banking relationships and facilities
• Oversee borrowings, investments and internal loans
• Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, including hedging
• Monitor USD exposures and offshore cash flow requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant banking and regulatory requirements
• Provide treasury expertise on financing and investment decisions
• Prepare treasury reports and provide support to senior management
• Manage and support a small treasury team

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Treasury Manager to join an established organisation on a month-to-month contract based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.
The role requires a strong treasury professional with experience in cash flow and liquidity management, banking relationships, foreign exchange, investments, borrowings and financial risk management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements
• Manage local and international banking relationships and facilities
• Oversee borrowings, investments and internal loans
• Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, including hedging
• Monitor USD exposures and offshore cash flow requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant banking and regulatory requirements
• Provide treasury expertise on financing and investment decisions
• Prepare treasury reports and provide support to senior management
• Manage and support a small treasury team
• 3-year tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 4 – 5 years’ relevant Treasury / Banking experience, ideally within a medium to large organisation
• Strong FX, cash flow, liquidity and risk management experience
• Proven experience managing banking relationships
• Strong reporting, analytical and administrative skills
• Confident engaging with senior management and key stakeholders
