Role Description
The Inbound Sales & Business Manager is responsible for driving inbound sales, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, travel agents, and tourism boards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract inbound tourism business.
- Generate and convert leads into successful sales for leisure, group, and MICE travel.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and create tailored travel solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with inbound travel partners, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Understand client needs and customize travel solutions accordingly.
- Handle inquiries, provide travel recommendations, and close sales effectively.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Operational Coordination:
- Work closely with internal operation teams to coordinate travel arrangements, hotel bookings, excursions, and transportation.
- Monitor service quality and resolve any issues related to tour operations.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and packages.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to optimize sales strategies.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve service offerings and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in inbound travel sales or destination management.
- Strong knowledge of travel trends, packages, and key destinations.
- Experience working with international clients and travel agencies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong client relationship management and networking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple client inquiries efficiently.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and travel booking platforms.
