We are seeking female ex-crew members interested in returning to land-based roles in South Africa.

Position Summary:

A leading leisure, travel, and tourism company is looking for a dynamic, customer-oriented Travel Consultant. Responsibilities include providing exceptional service, creating bespoke travel itineraries, booking all trip components, achieving sales targets, and contributing to overall profitability. Ideal candidates will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Design and sell customized travel itineraries based on individual preferences and budgets.
• Offer expert advice on destinations, visas, and travel insurance.
• Maximize sales through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting preferred partners.
• Maintain accurate records using the company's operational systems.
• Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Clear criminal record.
• No chronic medication and a clear medical history.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales and target-driven role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in reservation systems; experience with Amadeus is advantageous.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a roster basis.
