Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Travel Sales Agent to join our vibrant call centre team in Johannesburg.

Although based in South Africa, you will support travel agents from the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavian markets, with shift patterns organized accordingly.

As a Travel Sales Agent (Indirect), you will be the first point of contact for travel agents, providing expert advice, tailored travel solutions, and seamless booking experiences.

Your role combines sales skills with high-level customer service, requiring a deep understanding of our offerings and client needs.

Whether assisting with beach escapes, ski resorts, or family adventures, you will play a key role in fulfilling their requests.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Promoting Club Med packages: Promote our packages and offers via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other channels.
  2. Handling inbound and outbound calls: Address inquiries, concerns, and special requests from travel agents, follow up on leads, and strengthen relationships.
  3. Providing information: Be knowledgeable about Club Med terms, conditions, destinations, accommodations, activities, transport, and pricing to assist agents effectively.
  4. Making sales: Convert inquiries into bookings by communicating value and guiding agents through the online 'Club Med Travel Agent' portal.
  5. Meeting sales targets: Achieve or exceed sales goals through effective techniques and relationship management.
  6. Processing bookings: Assist with booking procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Upselling: Promote additional services to enhance customer experience and increase revenue.
  8. Customer service: Provide excellent support throughout the booking process, adhering to Club Med standards.
  9. Maintaining records: Keep accurate logs of interactions, bookings, and transactions.
  10. Continuous learning: Stay updated on policies, promotions, and tools, and suggest process improvements.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of the travel and tourism industry
  • Experience in a similar role and sector
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with ski travel (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Amadeus (beneficial)
Languages :

Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
