Do you have minimum 5 years experience as a Product Manager in the travel industry, developing and managing travel products?

Our position involves joining a well established company in Woodstock, using your experience to manage various product options and availability across Southern Africa, involving itineraries, services, and pricing.

Requirements:

  • Experience negotiating and procuring of travel packages for Southern Africa
  • Deadline driven
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
  • Strong organisation skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and procuring services for travel packages
  • Contracting rates and terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Coordinating supplier visits – training by suppliers
  • Attending local trade shows
  • Developing and designing travel itineraries.
  • Negotiating and procuring services from suppliers (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators).
  • Determining pricing and budgeting for travel packages.
  • Marketing and promoting travel products to potential customers.
  • May act as a representative for a specific destination or travel theme
  • Assisting the team ensuring rates are loaded correctly in the system
  • Pulling information / reports
