Unitrans Recruitment is seeking a Transport Manager to lead on-site operations for a transport, mining, or agricultural logistics contract. You will oversee daily transport activities, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet client SLAs, KPIs, and safety standards.

You will act as the primary on-site operations leader, ensuring efficient fleet use and cost control, while fostering a high-performance, safety-driven culture and delivering value to clients and the company.

Job description

The Transport Manager is responsible for the full operational and compliance delivery of a transport, mining, or agricultural logistics contract. This includes managing daily operations, resource allocation, human resources scheduling and planning, fleet utilisation, customer relationships, safety, and cost control.

The role ensures that all activities meet contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements while fostering a high-performance, safety-driven culture. The transport manager acts as the primary on-site operation leader, ensuring optimal use of people, fleet, and processes to deliver safe, reliable, cost-efficient, and compliant services that meet client expectations and company profitability targets. 2IC to Depot Manager to manage the full site / depot operation in the Depot Manager's absence.
