Our client is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team.

• Daily route planning,
• Oversee the deployment, and maintenance of the company’s fleet.
• Ensure all vehicles are operational and roadworthy.
• Optimize fleet utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with road traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain valid licensing, insurance, and permits for all vehicles.
• Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the fleet
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage relationships with service providers and workshops.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification preferred,
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in fleet management, logistics, or transport operations.
• Experience with short distance road freight
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers license ,
