Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the learning and capability strategy to achieve current and future fit capability requirements.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends and developments and ensure that the business has a solution to support the various generational learning requirements.
  • Continuously review new learning methodologies and processes to stay best in class.
  • Identify and assess continuous improvement and current training initiatives through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments.
  • Work closely with management, supervisors, and team leaders to identify skill gaps and performance
  • improvement opportunities
  • Develop Training Programs.
  • Design and develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids
  • Deliver Training. Facilitate training sessions and workshops, to ensure employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Create and Manage Training Calendar.
  • Develop and maintain an annual training calendar to ensure all training activities are scheduled and executed efficiently
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers to ensure the training programs are effective and meet the desired outcomes
  • Adapt Training Programs.
  • Amend and revise training programs as necessary to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Support Line Managers.
  • Assist line managers and trainers in solving specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
  • Requirements:
  • Min 5 years related experience with training and management in a professional environment.
  • Experience in managing programs and vendors.
  • Experience in implementing programs and processes to achieve Skills Development Act / BBBEE SD targets.
  • Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies
  • Knowledge of the effectiveness of learning methods
  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
  • Excellent Knowledge of and training experience on Microsoft 365 toolset.
  • Practical experience with MS Office Suite, SAP and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills٫ with a good ability to build relations with employees and vendors.
  • Strong organisational skills with business-oriented thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to maximise individual and team performance through developing and introducing learning and development programs and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of effective leadership behaviors
  • Proven ability to deliver learning and development programs in an efficient manner, preferably in a Shared
  • Services Centre or Contact Centre environment
