Job Title: Training Specialist

Job Summary

The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role ensures that all training initiatives align with business objectives and support a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Design & Delivery: Develop and deliver functional and technical training programs based on business needs. Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions. Create and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning content. Facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.
  2. Technical & Functional Training: Provide in-depth technical training on systems, tools, and applications relevant to employees' roles. Deliver functional training to ensure employees understand business processes and best practices. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and refine training content.
  3. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Assess training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance tracking. Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance learning impact. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best training practices.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, HR, and IT teams to align training programs with organizational goals. Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to reinforce learning and skill application. Assist in onboarding new hires by delivering foundational functional and technical training.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective programs.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with measuring and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Training & Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • Experience with virtual and digital learning platforms.
  • Background in logistics industry-specific training.
