Job Title: Training Officer: Electrical and Instrumentation (Hay level 13)

Location: Gauteng, Pretoria

Deadline: June 21, 2025

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
1. Develop and maintain allocated resources
  • Identify and report training equipment defects, ensuring operational availability for training.
  • Maintain sufficient training consumables through effective stock control.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping in work areas.
2. Implementation of training interventions
  • Prepare relevant training equipment and materials.
  • Develop training plans and ensure availability of supporting documentation.
  • Prepare assessment materials and manage related administration.
  • Create presentations aligned with the curriculum.
  • Ensure training outcomes are achieved.
  • Mentor and guide learners to ensure positive results.
  • Monitor learner welfare and liaise with stakeholders to address needs.
3. Assessment of learners
  • Utilize assessment documents effectively.
  • Assess learners per training plans and accreditation standards.
  • Complete and submit assessment reports.
  • Provide feedback to learners.
4. Management systems and compliance
  • Maintain relevant and up-to-date accreditations.
  • Implement training and administration in line with QMS.
  • Maintain safety measures in training workshops, including Behavioral Safety.
  • Ensure learner compliance with training requirements and policies.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Qualified as Electrical and Instrumentation Artisan (Red Seal).
  • At least 3 years' experience as a qualified Electrical and Instrumentation Artisan.
  • At least 3 years' experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Facilitator and Trade Tester.
  • Registered Assessor and Moderator with NAMB or any Seta.
