Job description

Job Summary:

The Training Lead is responsible for designing, managing, and continuously improving a comprehensive training and development program across the Urang Group, including internal teams, external clients, and contractors. This role ensures all staff and stakeholders meet compliance, regulatory, and operational training requirements, with all training tracked, documented, and auditable. The Training Lead also oversees LMS functionality, certification processes, and training needs analysis (TNA), and supports policy communication across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Strategy & Development

· Design and deliver training programs aligned with company goals, ISO standards, and compliance frameworks.

· Develop e-learning content and maintain up-to-date training modules in the Learning Management System (MyCompliance).

· Manage and propose face-to-face or outsourced training packages where necessary (e.g., First Aid, Fire Warden).

· Ensure all training content reflects current laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Training Needs Analysis

· Lead training needs assessments for departments and job roles using the Employee Assessment Framework.

· Identify gaps in knowledge, skills, compliance, or qualifications—including support requirements or reasonable adjustments.

· Highlight roles needing specialist HR-related training (e.g., Property Managers).

Compliance & Certification

· Monitor mandatory training and certifications across multiple platforms (MyCompliance, iHasco, TPI, RICS, CIPD, etc.).

· Maintain centralised training and certification records in MyCompliance and coordinate with HR for dual storage on BambooHR.

· Manage reminders and follow-ups for training renewals and deadlines.

· Generate reports for audit and payroll (e.g., for salary deductions due to missed sessions).

System Administration & Coordination

· Oversee MyCompliance training matrix and ensure accurate training records for individuals, teams, and departments.

· Collaborate with the IMS/ISO Lead and Document Controller to incorporate HR-related policies into the LMS.

· Coordinate Monday.com CRM workflows for employee-initiated training requests and approvals.

· Support internal onboarding and offboarding processes through compliance checkpoints and training alignment.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

· Work closely with Compliance Managers, HR, Department Leads, and external trainers to ensure quality training delivery.

· Deliver system demonstrations (e.g., MyCompliance) to stakeholders and gather feedback for improvement.

· Participate in platform decision-making for company policies and training content distribution.

· Support HR in issuing Notices of Concern or further actions where employees fail to comply with training expectations.

Continuous Improvement & Audit Support

· Conduct post-training evaluations and apply insights to improve future content and delivery.

· Stay up to date with industry best practices and incorporate new methods into the training strategy.

· Ensure all training programs and documentation are audit-ready and compliant with standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum 3–5 years in training, L&D, or compliance training.

· Experience using Learning Management Systems (MyCompliance, iHasco, etc.).

· Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001) and compliance frameworks.

· Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Strong project management and organisational abilities.

· Proficient in digital learning tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Training & Certifications:

· ISO Lead Auditor Training (9001, 14001, 27001, 45001)
